England's largest Anglican parish!!
We are a fellowship serving a wide farming area with some 15 dispersed hamlets. Our worship is varied in order to suit all who come. There are close links with our Church School and excellent ecumenical links with St Elizabeth's RC Church and Bescar Methodist Church.
We have a Mission Church called 'The Good Shepherd Mission' which is situated in Smithy Lane, Scarisbrick. There is a separate entry for that church.
There are 3 schools in the parish: St. Mark's Primary (controlled), Pinfold Primary (State) and Scarisbrick Hall (private) - all of which can be found on Southport Road.

Over a hundred years ago, our church was brought down the Leeds-Liverpool canal on a barge to a new home in the parish of Scarisbrick. This was to be a 'church plant' or mission church for our mother church of St. Mark (on Southport Road, Scarisbrick). It's a small, intimate church known for its friendly and relaxed fellowship. A variety of worship styles are used but mainly modern common worship services. There is no doubt that a welcome awaits any visitors!!
